QUPA, is a Greece based design studio formed by Eleni Kouineli and Stefanos Papadatos, two architects who combined their passion for architecture and handcraft to create CROQUIS, a series of jewelry inspired by floor plans of famous monuments, museums and other landmarks from all over the world. Architecture, design, history, travel and culture enthusiasts have now the opportunity to obtain their favorite building in the form of a small ornament with a precious architectural background value, quality and precision. CROQUIS are made by using classic molding, 3d printing or laser cut, depending on the complexity of the architectural plan. They are available in multiple sizes for earrings, necklaces or brooches. The change of the scale does not alter the proportions or the geometries of the floor plans; on the contrary it makes them better understood.
Eleni Kouineli was born in Thessaloniki. She graduated from the Architecture School of University of Thessaly in 2005. She holds a Mas (Master Advanced Studies) in Genetic Architecture ESARQ Universitat Internacional de Cataluña in 2008.
Stefanos Papadatos was born in Athens. He graduated from the Architecture School of University of Thessaly in 2007. He has participated in numerous projects on architectural designs and competitions, interior design for commercial spaces, installations and industrial products design.
