The sculptor Christos Anagnostopoulos was born in 1955 in Athens.
He studied sculpture and specialized in primitive casting techniques and artistic metal processing.
Τhe last 20 years he lives in the mountains of Arcadia, a mountainous region in the center of Peloponnese with great ancient history and culture.
One of the artist’s favorite subjects is the perennial olive tree with its trunk engraved, chapped, disintegrated, signs of time which are strongly imprinted on the old body of the tree.
